A grain-free diet helps sensitive digestion
Although most dogs can digest grains without any problems, there are still some that struggle and are prone to digestive problems such as constipation. All our products are of highest quality and specially formulated using the right balance of key nutrients – just without the grains.

Dogs can suffer from food allergies. Although it’s relatively rare for dogs to become intolerant or allergic to grains, when this does happen it can be a difficult time for both pets and owners – that’s why we eliminate the chances all together.
Grain-based ingredients such as wheat, maize, and soya are frequently used as fillers in commercial dog food. While these fillers may create a sense of fullness, they often have low nutritional value and can be difficult to digest. A significant part of the idea behind the ESSENTIALS meals, is to keep your dog's blood sugar stable. In the same way that it applies to people, it applies to dogs (even more so) that when the blood sugar is running low or high, significant fluctuations both mentally and physically takes place.
All of our meals are composed in order to avoid these fluctuations; creating a new standard of foods - for your dog. The principle we have developed is BOF (Behavioural Optimizing Foods) and has been extremely well received.

Free-run British Country Duck
We source barn-reared free-run English Country Ducks that are Farm Assured for their welfare. Duck is a lean, nutrient-dense meat that provides essential nutrients such as iron, selenium, B vitamins, and zinc, all of which contribute to overall health and well-being. (Meets or exceeds Red Tractor standards.)
Free-range British Chicken
Free-range poultry generally have a higher protein content than commercially raised chickens. Happier, healthier chickens are thought to produce tastier meat due to lower cortisol levels. Chicken is a lean source of protein, rich in essential amino acids, and a good source of vitamins and minerals, including B vitamins and iron. Our free-range chickens meets or exceeds Red Tractor standards.
Sweet potato
Sweet potatoes are a rich source of fibre and contain an array of vitamins and minerals including iron, calcium, selenium, and they’re a good source of most of our B vitamins and vitamin C.
Scottish Salmon
Scottish Salmon is typically fed better quality feed, and farming is less intensive, meaning they can swim further. A unique source of Omega-3 (DHA & EPA). Naturally rich in omega 3 essential fatty acids which have anti-inflammatory properties.
Wild Trout
Primarily sourced from within in the UK, trout is natural source of omega 3 essential fatty acids.
Eggs
An important source of protein, essential amino acids and the nutrients, lutein and choline (B-vitamin). Freshly prepared eggs from cage free chickens.
Linseed
Is often referred to as ‘nature’s gift. Rich in both Omega-3 (ALA) and plant nutrients. All three sources of Omega-3 have been included in ESSENTIALS: ALA, DHA & EPA. Omega 3 – may help to support skin and coat condition. Omega 3 also thought to help support cognitive and visual development in puppies.
Potatoes
An effective and tasty source of carbohydrates grown un Europe or UK. Excellent alternative to grains, suitable for dogs with grain sensitivities or intolerances good source of fibre and vitamin C.
Alfalfa Sprouts
Another one of Earth’s small miracles; filled with vitamins, mineral salts, amino acids, enzymes and most importantly, essential fibres.
Vitamins & Minerals
Carefully added in the highest possible quality. Combined with a nutritious selection of vegetables, fruits, berries, and herbs — along with a high content of fresh ingredients cooked at low temperatures — this supports long-term health and well-being.
PreBiotics
Prebiotics are compounds in food that induce the growth or activity of beneficial microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. The most common example is in the gastrointestinal tract, where prebiotics can alter the composition of organisms in the gut microbiome. In ESSENTIALS we include Mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS), Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) & alfalfa.

Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulfate, and MSM are three key ingredients that may support healthy collagen production and are essential for maintaining joint health.
